Analyzing the Professional Performance of Educational Leaders from Teachers’ Point of View

Abstract

Objectives: The main purpose of this study was to analyze the professional performance of educational leaders. Methods: A survey research method was used. The statistical population was all teachers in the second district of Hamedan, whose total number was 798 . Using simple random sampling method , 235 were selected as a statistical sample. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire. To analyze the data, descriptive statistical indicators, test for normality of data distribution (Smirnov-Kolmogorov),one-sample t-test and Friedman test are used.Findings:The results showed that the Professional performance of educational leaders from the perspective of teachers was below average, the level of assistance to teachers in the professional development, the level of assistance to teachers in Students behavior management, the level of leadership assistance in the process of teaching and assessing students' academic achievement was below average. The results also showed that the best performance of educational leaders was related to teaching process and the poor performance was due to professional growth. Conclusion: In general, it can be said that the more professional the performance of educational leaders, the higher the level of professional growth and development of teachers and, as a result, the level of students' satisfaction with teachers' classrooms
