The statistical population of the present study consisted of all female high school students in Khoy who were studying in the academic year 1397-1397. From among the population, 352 students were selected using Krejcie and Morgan’s table and via multi-stage cluster sampling. Data collection instruments were Frederick et al.'s (2004) Academic Engagement Questionnaire, LaGuardia et al.’s (2000) Basic Psychological Needs Questionnaire, which is based on the theory of self-determination, and Elliott and McGregor’s (2001) Goal Orientation Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and simultaneous multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-determination and academic engagement. There was also a positive and significant relationship between academic engagement and the components of tendency dominance and tendency performance. Also, there is a direct and significant relationship between self-determination with the components of tendency dominance and orientation-oriented performance-orientation. The results of regression analyses showed that goal-orientation was a predictor of academic engagement. هدف پژوهش حاضر، پیش­بینی اشتیاق تحصیلی دانش­آموزان دختر دوره دوم متوسطه شهرستان خوی بر اساس میزان خودتعیین­گری و جهت‌گیری هدف بود که با روش پژوهش همبستگی­ انجام شد. جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر، کلیه دانش­آموزان دختر دوره دوم متوسطه شهرستان خوی که در سال تحصیلی 1398-1397مشغول به تحصیل بودند. از بین این افراد با استفاده از جدول کرجسی و مورگان و به روش نمونه­گیری خوشه­ای چندمرحله­ای، 352 نفر انتخاب ­شدند. ابزارهای گردآوری اطلاعات، عبارت بودند از: پرسشنامه اشتیاق تحصیلی فردریکز و همکاران (2004)؛ پرسشنامه جهت‌گیری هدف الیوت و مک-گریگور (2001) و هم­چنین پرسشنامه نیازهای اساسی روانشناختی لاگواردیا و همکاران (2000) که بر اساس نظریه خودتعیین­گری تدوین­شده بود. داده­ها با استفاده از روش­های آماری آزمون همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه به شیوه همزمان تحلیل شدند. نتایج نشان داد که بین خودتعیین­گری با اشتیاق تحصیلی رابطه وجود­ دارد؛ هم­چنین بین اشتیاق تحصیلی با مؤلفه­های تسلط گرایشی و عملکرد گرایشی رابطه مثبت و معنادار وجود دارد و نیز میان خودتعیین­گری با مؤلفه‌های تسلط ­گرایشی و عملکرد گرایشی جهت‌گیری هدف رابطه، مستقیم و معنادار است و نتایج رگرسیون نشان­داد که جهت‌گیری ­هدف پیش‌ینی‌کنندۀ اشتیاق تحصیلی است. https://tpdevelopment.cfu.ac.ir/article_2125_f84d10af2eb615384e050c97feca5403.pdf
